How to Set Up Freemiga VPN on Android
Follow this guide to connect your Android phone or tablet to Freemiga VPN using a free VLESS/Xray-compatible app. Setup takes about two minutes and works on Android 8 and newer.
Install a VPN app
Install one of these free apps from Google Play, or download the APK directly from the developer's official GitHub page if Google Play isn't available in your region: v2rayNG, Hiddify, or NekoBox. All three support VLESS subscription links.
Copy your subscription link
Log in to your Freemiga dashboard and copy your VPN subscription link from the Overview tab.
Import the link into the app
Open the app, tap the menu icon, and look for "Subscription group setting" or "Import from clipboard". Paste your subscription link (or let the app read it directly from your clipboard) and update the subscription to fetch your server.
Connect
Select the Freemiga server from the list and tap the Connect (power) icon. Android will show a one-time "Connection request" dialog asking to set up a VPN connection — tap OK to allow it.
Verify your connection
Look for the key-shaped VPN icon in your notification bar and confirm your IP has changed by visiting any "what is my IP" site. If you have no internet, try a different server or switch the app's connection mode (e.g. between TCP and WebSocket) in its settings.
Android troubleshooting tips
If the app is killed in the background, disable battery optimization for it in Settings > Apps so Android doesn't disconnect the VPN to save power. If a specific server is slow, try another one from your subscription's server list.
