How to Set Up Freemiga VPN on iPhone and iPad

Follow this guide to connect your iPhone or iPad to Freemiga VPN using a free VLESS/Xray-compatible app from the App Store. Setup takes about two minutes.

1

Install a VPN app

Install one of these free apps from the App Store: Streisand, Hiddify, or V2Box. All three support VLESS subscription links, which is the protocol Freemiga uses. Streisand is open-source and has the simplest setup for first-time users.

Copy your subscription link

Log in to your Freemiga dashboard (in Safari or the app) and copy your VPN subscription link from the Overview tab.

3

Import the link into the app

Open the app you installed and look for an option like "Add Subscription", "Import from URL", or the "+" button. Paste your subscription link and confirm to download your server list.

4

Connect

Select the Freemiga server from the list and tap Connect. iOS will ask for permission to add a VPN configuration ("[App] Would Like to Add VPN Configurations") — tap Allow, then confirm with Face ID/Touch ID or your passcode.

5

Verify your connection

Check the VPN status icon in your status bar (it should show a small "VPN" label) and confirm your IP has changed by visiting any "what is my IP" site. No internet after connecting? Try a different server from the list.

iOS troubleshooting tips

If the app can't connect, make sure your subscription hasn't expired in your Freemiga dashboard. If iOS keeps disconnecting the VPN in the background, check that Low Power Mode is off, since it can interrupt background VPN processes.
